Stephenie Meyer to Eventually Resume Midnight Sun?

Buried at the bottom of Stephenie Meyer’s brief interview with Entertainment Weekly about the Twilight graphic novel was this very interesting tease:
When this project is done, are you done with Twilight?
I can’t say that I am done with Twilight forever. I’m not working on anything new Twilight-related now, and probably not for a while. But there’s still a possibility that I’ll go back and close some of the open doors.

By “some of the open doors,” she must mean Midnight Sun, the planned companion novel to Twilight told from Edward’s perspective. She stopped writing it back in August 2008 when twelve chapters of it were leaked online, but said later that after waiting a couple years she would think about returning to it. Is a couple years up yet?
