Stephenie Meyer 'Undecided About Making Twilight Saga: Breaking Into Dawn Two Movies'

Stephenie Meyer, author of The Twilight Saga, is said to be undecided about making the final book in franchise into two movies.

Film studio Summit Entertainment is said to be keen to split Breaking Dawn in order to cash in on the popular vampire saga.

But Meyer, who made for than $50million in 2009, is said to be reluctant to endorse the proposal.

"Stephenie is calling the shots and she still can't decide whether or not [making two movies] is the right thing to do creatively,” an insider told E! Online.

"Meyer isn't in it for the fame. She hates doing press, and she doesn't want to be recognized for anything other than her work, so what's her incentive to drag [the book] out?"

Bosses at Summit are apparently trying their best to “politely inspire" Meyer to change her mind.
The source added: "They keep trying to persuade her it's the right thing to do artistically. They're constantly waiting for her input."
In December, reports claimed splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies would cause problems at it would mean re-opening contract negotiations with the cast, many of whom are signed up for just four films.
The third film in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, is due to be released in the summer.
