Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Kiss in ‘Twilight’ Named One of Best of Decade

Robert Pat­tin­son and Kris­ten Stewart’s kiss in Twi­light has been voted one of the best kisses of the last decade.

The ten­der moment, which occurred in the first film in the vam­pire saga, came fourth in the survey.

Madonna and Brit­ney Spears’infamous les­bian kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003 topped the poll con­ducted by depart­ment store Selfridges.

A source described the kiss as “one of the most mem­o­rable moments ever”.

“Madonna per­form­ing with both Brit­ney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody — even the MTV peo­ple — expected what hap­pened,” they added.

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst were sec­ond for their roman­tic embrace in Spider-Man, while Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal’s kiss in Broke­back Moun­tain came fourth.

The top-five was com­pleted by Scar­lett Johans­son and Pene­lope Cruz for their kiss in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

The sur­vey was con­ducted by Sel­f­ridges ahead of the open­ing of its kiss­ing booth at its flag­ship store in Lon­don next month.
