Robert Pattinson Mentioned In A New Book About Media & Celebrities

What began as an online service of offering Zombie Portraits online has grown into a full time vocation and two published books for local artist, Rob Sacchetto.

Since its release in July, Rob’s latest book, Zombiewood Weekly: The Celebrity Dead Exposed, has captured worldwide media attention.

From AOL coverage, and MSN.ca to Australian Radio interviews, and Spanish newspaper stories, both the media and public alike are clamouring to talk to the artist about this latest parody of Hollywood’s heroes and villains.

From mass media to fan sites for celebs he has zombiefied, Rob’s 2nd book (the first, The Zombie Handbook: How to Identify the Living Dead, and Survive the Coming Zombie Apocalypse) has been spreading like virtual wildfire all over the web.

“I even found a Robert Pattinson (Twilight Movies) fan site mentioning that I had turned him into a zombie for the book,” chuckles Rob.

The book was written as a parody of celeb rags as “Entertainment Weekly“ and is being eaten up as voraciously as any gossip of the stars is these days.

No stranger to international acclaim, Rob has sold his original zombie paintings to over 1000 customers worldwide. His work has also been featured in three of horror writer Jonathan Maberry`s books (most recently Rob and Ruin, where Rob not only did zombie character designs but was written in as an “erosion artist” named for him specifically.

Rob will be appearing at two book signings this month in Northern Ontario. The first will be at the Laughing Buddha in Sudbury (his hometown) on October 16th from 2-8pm and the following Saturday, Oct 23rd in Sault Ste. Robert Pattinson would have struggled to cope with fame if it wasn’t for his agent.

The hunky star is best known for his portrayal of vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight film franchise. The role has won him hordes of female fans, and means he now struggles to walk down the street without being recognised. Robert has worked hard to remain unaffected by his star status, but he has apparently relied heavily on his agent Stephanie Ritz for support.

“I don’t think Rob could have coped with his Twilight stardom if Stephanie hadn’t been by his side,” a source explained. “She’s also encouraged him to get his music career off the ground, which Rob is hugely passionate about.”

Robert has previously spoken glowingly about Stephanie, admitting she is the one person who understands the sort of roles he is interested in. He likes having someone older he can discuss his career with, and finds her advice invaluable.

Anyone see The Social Network this weekend? Yeah, we couldn't believe how much we enjoyed a flick that had Justin Timberlake in it, either.

But not only did we totally dig it, we got a new hunk obsession out of it, too:

Andrew Garfield. Holy yum. Here he is standing next to J.T. and Jesse Eisenberg at yesterday's Paris premiere. And can you believe we fell for the new Spider-Man even before we figured out he was a close friend of Robert Pattinson's?

We didn't recognize that the Andrew we saw kill it on screen was the same scruffy pal who has been spotted hanging with Rob and Tom Sturridge many times before. We're so loving their dude posse!

Garfield's name has been thrown around for best supporting actor buzz (even Timberlake too, nuts) which we think is pretty on-target, but as much as we were lusting after Andrew the whole flick was totally carried by Jesse.

Kristen Stewart's Adventureland costar truly was awesome in this role. We don't understand why there isn't more chatter about Eisenberg with awards season right around the corner because he was pretty captivating every second he was on screen.
