'Welcome To The Rileys' Is A 'Really, Really Good Story' For 'Twilight' Fans, Kristen Stewart Says

FROM MTV.COM: To hear Kristen Stewart talk about her role as an underage stripper in "Welcome to the Rileys" is to understand the way in which the character continues to live in the actress' mind and affect her emotionally. For all the attention she's garnered for the "Twilight" series, the 19-year-old actress maintains that her experience on "Rileys" stands out as both the most personal and most natural of her career.

"This ... was different from any movie that I've done," she told MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival. "How do you describe a feeling? I don't know. It just felt so completely right to be telling this story with [director Jake Scott] and [Melissa Leo] and Jim [Gandolfini], and that's different to any acting I've ever done."

Taylor Lautner And Chace Crawford Ready To Score At Super Bowl Celebrity Football Game

By Cara Alwill MTV

What could be better than looking at "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner with his shirt off? How about watching him run around and get all sweaty? Oh yes, we’re totally serious.
Taylor has signed on to play in the fourth annual DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl, a flag-football game that serves as part of the weekend festivities surrounding the Super Bowl. According to the Direct TV, the game will feature former NFL pros Troy Aikman and Warren Moon serving as quarterbacks of the two teams.
Last year’s event was a huge success, as tens of thousands of fans gathered to watch Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Maria Menounos take part in the game. So, who else is joining Taylor on the field this year? Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr, Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller, Christian Slater, celebrity foodie Guy Fieri and "Entourage" star Kevin Dillon will all team up for the event. The All American Rejects will perform live right after the game, and quarterback Eli Manning will oversee the festivities.
Taylor is no stranger to football. The 17-year-old was spotted this past weekend at the Colts game in Indianapolis alongside actor Rob Lowe. Ladies take note: there’s a good chance he’ll be sticking around town for the Superbowl, which will take place the day after his flag football debut on February 6.

Kristen Stewart Talks 'Breaking Dawn' Script, Hopes Renesmee Won't Be A 'Scary, Teeth Baby'

There is a multitude of questions surrounding "Breaking Dawn," the potentially final installment of "The Twilight Saga," including who will direct the film, when it will begin production and whether or not it will be broken up into two films — but as it stands, the only true guarantee is that "Breaking Dawn" will exist on film some day.

At the Sundance Film Festival, MTV News spoke with Kristen Stewart to see if she could shed some much needed light on the highly anticipated movie, but it turns out that the on-screen Bella Swan is just as in the dark as the rest of the franchise's fans.

"I don't even know if it's going to be one [film] or two, or who is directing it, or when it's even going [to start]," she admitted. "I know that it's going to go, but not when yet."

The most important issue facing Kristen's character is the birth of Edward and Bella's baby daughter Renesmee. In Stephenie Meyer's novel, Renesmee's birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the "Breaking Dawn" script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.

"I haven't seen a script, but I'm not alone in really, really wondering how they're going to handle that," she said.

As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It's a tricky question that Kristen doesn't have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.

"Little Renesmee, she's got to be cute," said the actress. "She can't just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!

It's National Hat Day! MTV Salute Hot Hat-Wearing Star Robert Pattinson

There are two accessories that guys look hot in: plastic framed glasses and hats. There's the rare breed that looks great in both at the same time. But since today is National Hat Day and not National Glasses Day, Hollywood Crush has decided to round up some of our favorite Hollywood hotties with a penchant for adorning their mops of hair with hats.

Robert Pattinson is arguably the most famous 20-somethings in Tinseltown. He's one half of the "Twilight" hunk conglomerate, he has his romantic flick, "Remember Me," coming out this March and he likes to wear hats (specifically a Yankees one). This only makes his that much hotter.

'Breaking Dawn' Updates: Movie Planned To Shoot This Fall, Possibly With A CGI Renesmee

Undershadowed by this week's Stephenie Meyer/Summit Entertainment "Breaking Dawn" disagreement rumor was a piece the LA Times put out where they spoke to "Twilight Saga" producer Wyck Godfrey about the series' final installment(s). In it Wyck talks about such bland things as Renesmee possibly being an entirely CGI creation?!
With the success of "Avatar," it makes sense that this idea is being toyed with, but Summit isn't Fox and whoever ends up helming "Breaking Dawn" (which Wyck says he doesn't think will be Chris Weitz, fyi) will be no James Cameron. Therefore, with so many such CGI situations turning into unrealistic disasters, Wyck's comment was cringe-worthy to say the least.
"I keep having visions of '[The Curious Case of] Benjamin Button' in my head," he said. "It's certainly going to be visual effects in some capacity along with an actor. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a full CG creation, but it also may be a human shot on a soundstage that then is used to shrink down."
Fortunately, Wyck did add that ultimately the decision will be up to whatever director ends up signing on to the project. And he seems to have high hopes that that decision will be made soon. All three main actors are signed for the final installment in the series, and Wyck told the Times that "Breaking Dawn" is absolutely going forward — one movie or two — and that the plan is to begin to start shooting in the fall in Vancouver. That will be after the release of "Eclipse," and might help with being able to bring in some bigger named directors (and actors for the hordes of new vampires that are sure to be introduced in the film) and a better budget for the final film(s) if the third film in "The Twilight Saga" is a success.
What they're waiting on right now, though, is screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's treatment for "Breaking Dawn." "The issue [of whether there will be one or two movies] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it's organic. If it's not organic, I don't think it will be done, and if it is, it will be," Wyck said. "It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is, with all of these new vampires that appear in 'Breaking Dawn,' the whole section about Jacob... It's a very long single movie if it does become a single movie."
He added, "We're just focused on the treatment and getting that right. At that point, we're going to see who's available and who's appropriate. It's such a complicated book because you have the emotions and the intensity of the love story — so you need somebody who's just a wonderful director of actors — and yet it's really complicated from an action and visual effects standpoint. They've got to have both tools in their kit."

Kristen Stewart

Age: 19

Hails From: Los Angeles

In 2009: She ruled the box office with “New Moon” and dominated gossip blogs, thanks to all the rumors about her relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson. She had everyone talking about her look and her personal life and she insisted that fans, and the media, should focus more on her work than her persona. Why She’ll Be Huge in 2010: As if releasing “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in June isn’t enough to have everyone excited, she’s in two more buzzed-about flicks: She’ll reteam with Dakota Fanning for the rock biopic “The Runaways,” and she’s going to get edgier playing a stripper in “Welcome to the Rileys.”
Choice Quote: “I’m, like, vibrating,” Stewart said about her turn as the legendary Joan Jett in “The Runaways.” “I’m just so excited about that movie.”

MTV: Taylor Lautner's 'Abduction' Hero Vs. Jason Bourne: Who Would Win?

Photobucket

Only one more day until "Twilight" superstar Taylor Lautner graces MTV News with his hunky presence for"MTV First: Taylor Lautner," which premieres on air and online Wednesday at 7:56 p.m. ET. The 19-year-old star will exclusively debut the first trailer from his upcoming action/thriller "Abduction," after which the conversation will move to MTV.com where Lautner will sit down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz for a 30-minute interview

If you Lautner fans weren't already excited about this exclusive event, we've got a little sneak peek of what you'll be privy to when you tune in and log on for our latest "MTV First." During the interview, Lautner discusses the similarities and inevitable comparisons between his confused young character, Nathan Price, and Jason Bourne.

"I would say Nathan Price's journey takes place before Jason Bourne's started," Lautner explained. "When Jason realized, when he was searching for his true identity, he was already a trained expert."

How about Nathan vs. Jason — who would win? "I think Nathan would need a little more
training," Lautner said. "Give him a couple years, and we'll get there."

Lautner's co-star Lily Collins recently offered her thoughts on the Bourne comparisons, giving major props to Lautner for his work on the film.

"[He is] very Jason Bourne-esque, of course, with his own twist on it," Collins explained to MTV News of Taylor's character in the film. "It's a complete departure from Jacob. Obviously I'm in the movie so I'm biased, but I think it's going to completely shock his fans, and people that necessarily don't know him very well as Jacob that aren't 'Twilight' fans. I think he brings an aspect people haven't seen yet and [it's] very, very exciting."
