Just a Few Hours Left - Who Is Going to Win?

So who is going to win? I know we've already had a thread asking this question, but after the stories surrounding the jury questions, I think it may be closer than we initially expected.

Here's how I think the votes will go:

Matt: He apparently asked the dreaded question about how the money will be spent, but I still think he'll vote for Ryan. I know some may think he'll hold a grudge because of the deal that sent Natalie packing, but he may look at that as great game play.

Chelsia: No question in my mind that my girl will vote for Adam.

Joshuah: There's no question that he hates both Ryan and Adam, but it seems that he spent most of the jury time berating Adam. So I think he's a vote for Ryan.

James: Both Ryan and Adam have praised the way James behaved in the jury meeting, but it should be obvious that the fact Adam gave James a chance to save himself will earn his vote.

Natalie: This is a tough call. She was obviously more hooked up with Ryan, but he was also responsible for her departure. Will Adam's whisper at her eviction gain her vote? I think so, but she could easily do the "Christian" thing and forgive Ryan.

Sharon: Another tough call. She's obviously pissed at Ryan, but is it enough to give her vote to Adam? I think so.

Sheila: Who can predict what this psycho will do? She carried everybody, you know, and in her mind it's a crime that she's not in the final. She's mad that Ryan didn't choose her over Adam, even though Ryan told her the night before it wasn't going to happen. But she's also pissed that Adam didn't win that final HOH so he could carry her. How is she going to survive as a 46 year-old single mom? I predict she goes with Adam, but I'd hate to have to rely on her as the deciding vote.

So I hate it at 5 - 2 in favor of Adam, but it could just as easily a 4 -3 win for Ryan. What do you think?

Day Three of Final Two - No Different Than Day One or Two

The feeds are so exciting - sleeping, eating, exercising, and continued talk about how ungrateful Josh, Sharon, and Sheila were in the jury questioning. While I'm no fan of that trio, did these two really believe this silly exercise was going to be all about patting those two on the back?

What makes me laugh is that Ryan now wishes he would have come up with a charity to answer the inevitable "what are you going to do with the money" question. I've said this before, but Survivor is to blame for this. It's nobody's business what either of them do with the money, and the votes should be based on their actions in the house and nothing else.

Sheila Believes Josh's Story?

I should not have turned off the feeds to watch South Park.

A few days ago, Josh concocted an elaborate story about Neil that he was going to use to try to get Sheila's vote. According to Jokers Updates,I guess he actually went through with it shortly before the show tonight:

Sheila talking to Sharon in the salon, tells her that Neil is Josh's real boyfriend and that they have a son named Chase (the story he was planning to tell right after Julie said he had been evicted). Says she can't tell anyone else. Sheila says he told me that before he left. Sharon says why wouldn't he tell me, Sheila says that maybe he didn't want them to be more of a target. Sheila says that's why she was crying.

Said Chase is not his lover, he is his son. Sheila says she asked Josh why, why didn't you tell us this before. Says Josh said he did this show for Neil and their son.

Sheila said she told Josh if he had told her this earlier she would've figured out a way to keep him in the house.

Sheila said she is the one person he could've trusted, because she is a single mom. Says why would he make that up.

Joshuah Out! Adam is New HOH

Joshuah was evicted 3-1, James being the only vote to evict Sharon.

Adam won HOH on the last question in a competition Natalie would have been very good at. I say this now because it is a warning that you will hear about it all night long.

This also means Sheila is safe for another week. DAMMIT.

More Thoughts On Last Night's Episode

As I'm sitting here waiting for the eviction show, I thought I'd write some more thoughts about last night's episode. This may be shocking to hear from this curmudgeon, but last night's episode may have been the best crafted show they've ever shown.

For the first time ever, the entire episode told a story. Even the silly recap at the beginning actually fit the plot arc. We saw (again) Chelsia being evicted, Natalie winning HOH, and James and Josh being nominated. This set the stage for a story that revolved around James, and the mental and physical demands of being the person who is always in danger of being evicted.

Sure, there are some quibbles with the editing. James' initial confrontation with Sheila didn't show at all just how Sheila's refusal to drop the subject brought on the ensuing battle, and the back-and-forth between Sheila/Sharon and Josh/Natalie drastically needed to be paired down a bit. Yet, it all fit together to show us how a depressed and defeated James was renergized after his clash with Sheila; how his game play in the POV blew away everybody else that competed; how Josh "suddenly" decided to fight to stay in the house; and climaxed with James somewhat self-serving speech at the POV meeting that not only declared his frustration with constantly being the target but also called out others who have yet to contribute anything but whining and plotting.

They did all of this without resorting to the cheesy garbage that mars the majority of episodes. There were no "beebies". Josh didn't do his silly morning dances. Natalie didn't pray to God and Matty, or babble her most recent theories about whatever number has come to her head this week. They stuck to this week's game story, and I pray that this continues in the future.

Forget the Tie - Bye Bye Joshuah.

Four votes. Sheila is a lock to vote out Joshuah.

Tonight Ryan and Adam talked outside - they agree they can see no good reason to keep Joshuah in the house over Sharon. They say that if Sharon wins HoH she will nominated Sheila - and laugh a that because Sheila has been working so hard to be closer to Sharon.

So the vote will most likely be 3-1 to evict Joshua.

It's Hard To Report On Nothing

I apologize for not posting much of anything these last couple of days, but absolutely nothing of interest has gone down. Whenever I tune it, it seems like I hear nothing but the same Sheila/Natalie conversations that I've heard for weeks. Showtime has little more than Josh and Sharon sleeping, and last night they were so hard up for entertainment they provided them with a deck of cards and water colors.

Really, it's already at the point that generally occurs during the last few days of the show, when there's only two people left biding their time for the finale. Ryan and Adam do absolutely nothing all day and night besides wander around from room to room too afraid to stand up to Sheila and Natalie. Sharon listens to Josh and James and reports what she hears to Sheila, and vice versa. Except for Sharon, none of those I already mentioned will even chat with James and Joshuah, so they now spend all of their time sleeping.

It's really a shame that everybody that seemed to have a personality has already been evicted. I don't just mean my girl Chelsia, either. (Hehehe.) Alex, Matt, Parker, and even psycho Allison would have at the very least been entertaining to watch. These seven are just dullards. At the same time, though, you have to give them credit for acknowledging that these people were all threats to win the whole thing, and acted accordingly. (Now if we could only get Ryan and Adam to realize that keeping Sheila is just prolonging their personal (and our viewing) nightmare.)

Of course, as I'm typing that things actually do heat up, as Joshuah challenged Sheila for her "bullshit". Reminiscent of her battle with James last week, she at first denied each of Josh's charges, then backtracked when confronted with the fact that everybody has said she was "campaigning". "They come to me, Joshuah." Oh, that makes it ok. When she finally realizes she can't win the argument, she cries out that he's "threatening" her and runs to the diary room.

Josh Freaked Out!

Tuesday's episode coincides with April Fools' Day, and as already noted the producers are playing tricks on the contestants for what I'm sure will be ten minutes of pure cheese. In the last hour or so, Josh has seen faces in the mirrors and has been wayyyyyyyyy over the top in his reactions.

They're currently on outside lockdown, which has them all freaked out that the producers have something scary planned for them. Could this and the previous incidents involve former house guests from not either this season or previous seasons? It's been done before.

Could The Unholy Alliance Still Be On After All?

Natalie is now informing the boys what Sheila and Sharon are saying about them. Josh just cornered her in the bathroom, and all Natalie claims to care about is that the vote is not tied so she doesn't become the bad guy. She tells him Sheila is pushing hard for him to go so it will be boys versus girls. Josh offers to give up two HOH's to her, but she tells him the best plan is for him to get it and get rid of Sheila.

My favorite part is when Josh asks if she should go off on Sheila. Natalie's response is to not do that because "she doesn't want to listen to Sheila bitch 24/7". She also thought the flour incident was funny. "I got some on me. I'm not complaining." I may be starting to like Natalie, after all.

Fun With Tampons

Ryan and Adam played a little joke on the house last night with Sheila's tampons. I don't know how smart this is, given her constant complaints about her "heavy flow". She may need every single one of these.

New Alliance - James, Ryan, Josh and Natalie

They have decided that Sharon will go this week - then they will go after Adam and Sheila because they feel that they are too strong as a couple.

Meanwhile Sharon is bursting into tears because she feels like she has let her partner down. Little does she know Joshuah overheard Sharon crying in the bathroom and Sheila comforting her - and he ran upstairs and told Natalie and Ryan that Sheila is already working to get Sharon's trust.

What a huge turn of events - this week just improved by a million percent.

Ryan: I'd rather have Josh.

The boys vs. girls plan may be in place.

Ryan just told Adam how he'd rather keep Joshuah in the game, and evict one of the girls. Bad news for Sharon. Bad news for Sheila. Although Sheila leaving will be good for America.

James is starting to show how happy he is by dancing around in his room.

Post POV - Bring on the drama

Tonight should be very fun. We already have Joshuah saying fuck it and about to eat a cheeseburger.

POV Reaction

Sharon is crying.

Joshuah has yet to throw a fit, but is threatening to not stick to the slop. He really knows it's his time to leave.

James is not gloating. At all. He's walking around pretty much in shock that he won and he's staying in this house. Smart move on his part.

Sheila is talking about the competition. Joshuah just wants her to shut up. Sheila's dumb move yesterday has put her on James' shit list. In a perfect world, Ryan will lobby hard to keep Joshuah in the house. Sheila will go up and we all can be rid of that awful mess. This isn't a perfect world right now, though. Maybe on Sunday it will be.

It's time for dinner in the house now. Should be an interesting weekend.

And the POV Winner Is....

You just can't get rid of him!

Joshuah's only hope is Natalie putting up Sheila.

James' Revenge!

James overheard Ryan, Adam, Sheila, and Natalie telling Joshuah that he was going to be safe this week and there's no way he's going home. Sharon was in diary, by the way, even though she was involved in this conversation earlier. James was telling Joshuah how he overheard everything, called them out, and Sheila backpeddled her ass off.

Sheila won't let go of how Chelsia left the house, and is taking it out on James. James expected it, but Chelsia really did ruin his game. It was a completely selfish move on her part and severely hurt the one person she cared about most in the house. James knows all this. James knows the target on him is now bigger than ever because of Chelsia's final outburst. Since he's witnessed the bashing to Joshuah, he's been very confident in saying he's going to win the veto tomorrow.

James is being lied to right now, pretty hardcore. By everyone. Even by the two people he can kind of trust. It's going to be an interesting competition tomorrow, for sure. I can't wait to see the outcome.

In a perfect world, James would pull himself off the block and Natalie for some reason would nominate Sheila. But this isn't a perfect world and I don't know why we have to wait so long for Sheila's eviction.

EDIT: Video of James telling Sheila to keep her mouth shut!!

He Has to Go!

Sharon might start some drama!

I never thought I'd see the day. She wants to get the other house guests pumped up before tomorrow's competition by spreading some rumors about James.

Joshuah is going to stay calm. He believes James is just waiting for Joshuah to freak out a little bit. Sharon and Josh know everyone want James gone and believe this is his week to finally go. James is in his bed, all curled up.

I feel really bad for James. I did want to see Chelsia go, but now that she's gone he has no one in the house. Well, maybe Sheila. But she can turn on a dime. I wanted James to win this all at first, and everything completely changed.

Joshuah is promising not to pull a Chelsia.

I think tonight will be an early night for all the house guests. The competition will probably be early tomorrow morning.

Sheila Plays James

Sheila catches James alone and she decides it's time to talk to him. She says she never wanted Chelsia to leave. She was upset that she never got the chance to talk to her alone before she left and didn't like her speech when she left. Also, she doesn't want him leaving and truly doesn't believe he'll be going home. James also didn't like the speech. In my opinion, Chelsia leaving like a brat was not good for James. Sure, his fate in the house was determined weeks ago, but her bitching like that just makes the rest of the house not trust the one person she confided in. James agrees with this.

We have two little spies. Joshuah was the first one, then Natalie. They both happened to run into each other and Natalie tells Josh that James staying isn't happening.

Joshuah is handling the nomination much better than we all would have imagined. He is fiery. Since he's on the block with James, he's a little more at ease. This doesn't mean he's completely okay with being on the block. He isn't. He seems more subdued and quiet. If he was on the block with anyone other than James, we would have seen the Joshuah we all know and love. Or hate.

This could all change tomorrow.

James and Joshuah Nominated.

No shocker here.

James has to win tomorrows POV or he will be leaving next Wednesday.

Anyone else probably won't use the POV if they win it.

Only one person will not get to compete tomorrow. If they competition is of a certain type people could gang up against James to keep him from winning. My guess is it will not be that type.

Update - I thought they were on an inside locktown to prepare for tomorrow's POV but they are back outside now so I guess not.

Nat Makes Her Play - Nominates Josh and James

No surprises here. James is gone unless he wins POV.

The only good thing to happen in the last 24 hours, though, is Sheila being on slop for the third time. The more things she has to complain about, the less repetition to come out of her mouth.
