Twilight Star Kellan Lutz Is Up For Role Of Conan The Barbarian

Kellan plays the beefy Emmett Cullen in Twilight but is fed up of playing young boys and wants to bulk up to play Conan in the remake of the 1982 film that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Kellan told E! Online: "They're finalizing so they're trying to figure out what happens next. I've been waiting for a while, doing screen tests. There are just so many cooks in the kitchen. If it happens, it happens…Regardless, it's not gonna be the new Arnold Schwarzenegger type of movie, no one's going to try and play that role. I think they're going younger, a different type of story. I'm just excited, because the script is great."
According to Deadline Hollywood, other's in with a chance of landing the role include Stargate Atlantis actor Jason Momoa.
Shooting is due to start in March so we wonder how that will fit in with Kellan's Twilight Saga commitments as Summit is yet to give the go ahead for the filming of Breaking Dawn.
