As we all recall, exactly one year ago there was a devastating earthquake in the capital of Haiti Port au Prince, which left thousands homeless, including many children, long before mired in poverty, yet continue to seek necessary assistance from all of us.
Last year, before this tragedy, many individuals came together to try and regain the impoverished country and give a sign of hope. Of course, many celebrities took important part in this noble cause, including the ambassador for UNICEF, Selena Gomez, and now, a year later, again reminding us that there is still much to be done.
In a video released today, Selena tells us the following:
"I want to remind everyone that Haiti still needs us. I also want to thank each of you for participating together in the campaign 'Hope for Haiti 'a year ago, where we could collect $ 66 million. Unfortunately, at the time of wanting to rebuild an entire nation, the money goes fast, and Haiti still needs our help. "
Also, Selena invited us to continue working with our donations through the following link: www.unicefhaiti365.org.
